We recently conducted staff, resident and relative surveys regarding our response to the Covid-19 situation.
All staff surveyed felt that they had enough PPE and had received adequate support to carry out their jobs safely. A member of staff commented that “We have all been an excellent team during the Covid-19.”
All resident respondents said they felt they Watermoor House had provided both enough support and enough information to them during the pandemic. Residents comments included “Thank you for keeping me safe” and “Thank you for making it possible to see my family”
Friends and family rated Watermoor House as 4.5 out of 5 for their handling of home operations during the pandemic. A relative commented that residents’ interests were “always foremost in the minds of staff.”
It’s clear that whilst it hasn’t been an easy time for staff, residents and families, Watermoor House team have been viewed as doing the best of their ability. The challenge continues but Watermoor House team works hard to help each other and to support residents and their families to give the best experience, whilst keeping everybody safe.
